André started creating children’s stencil portraits for his family about four years ago, and since then he’s done over a dozen. The process is simple yet elegant. We start with a photo of a cute kid and then A. creates a 3-colour stencil from the photo.

Finished size is 12″ x 12″ (30 cm x 30 cm).

Here’s how it works.

1. You click on the ‘buy now’ button and you pay for your canvas.
2. Within the next few days you send us by email 2 or 3 photos that we can choose from to create the best canvas for you.
3. You pick one accent colour (such as orange, olive, tan, blue, rose, pink, or grey). The final colours in your canvas will be YOUR accent colour + a lighter shade of the same colour + off white. André can’t match exact tints.
4. André designs and paints a custom one-of-a-kind painting of your child.
5. We send you a digital proof for your approval within a week.
6. Upon approval, the painting is left to dry and can be shipped the following week. Total turnaround time from payment to shipment is 16 days.
7. If for any reason you do not 100% adore the digital proof, we will refund your payment.
8. We post your painting on the site to show off how cute your kid is. We reserve the right to use the painting as a sample or for advertising : )

Note:

1. If ordering more than one copy of the same painting (i.e. one for you and one for your child’s grandparents), they must be ordered at the same time so that A. can paint them at the same time. If ordered later, then discount pricing for multiples won’t work out 🙂
2. If you’d like to order two (or more) copies of the SAME portrait, with either identical colours OR perhaps with a different accent colour, please don’t wait to email me! Go ahead and PAY for the first canvas, and then email me that you’d like multiples. I’ll prepare a separate Paypal invoice for the copies to make up the balance.
